As you may already know, I am also
enthralled with all things natural and most of my art
reflects this, including my photos. The smallest
ecosystems are like miniature worlds within worlds, they
fascinate me. For me nothing is more breathtaking than a
bare, leafless tree silhouetted by the setting sun, or a
hawk circling in a pristine sky. Everything in nature
reminds me of the miracle of life, it renews my spirit and
gives flight to my imagination.
I believe a photo is meant to give the perspective of
the soul taking it, that is my goal.
I don't take pictures of people. For all my
"eye-obsessions"... You might think I
would, at least I think it would be quite fitting.
However, people don't fascinate me nearly as much as
emotions. A place, an image, a tiny alien world elicits
such depth of feelings inside me and that is what I want
to convey. The emotion of the moment.
