Since the advent of the internet I've been online.
Actually, I did a lot of BBSing before we had an internet… It
was a hoot back in those days, when your modem was a cradle for
the headpiece of your telephone and a whole meg on your hard-drive
denoted you as elite. I've been designing web pages and creating
graphic art since 1991. The two for me go together hence my
connection. I am a firm believer in the future of the internet,
one day it will evolve to embrace all media into one. Like it or
not it is here to stay and those of us who help build the
foundations are the pioneers, kinda like in the days of the Old
West. We get to put down the first rocks, plant the first seeds
for future generations to build from. It's very exciting to me!
Born in California, I now live in the Deep South. It's warm down
here… wet, rainy and humid. Great places to visit however...
Lots of history, texture, cultural richness, diverse music,
friendly people and awesome food, gotta love life! (Oh, I forgot
to mention the cemeteries!)
We live in interesting times, when all our
opinions have a forum of expression. We are all the same, whether
we live in Africa, the Orient, the Middle East or the US of A.
Even in our diversity we should remain united… I believe that

expression of thought can the common grounds be easily
recognized, for others to realize how alike we really are we have
to be willing to show them.
The internet reaches across national boundaries,
opening the world to each and every one of us. Take advantage of
this wonderful creature, use it to tell the world about you and
where you come from; show us so that we might be able to relate,
or at least understand. In the end, how we use the internet, what
kind of tool we construct is how our generation will be
remembered.
Shouldn't we use it for
the good of all, rather than allow it to be consumed by the
seedier, more profitable ventures? Cultural preservation should be
a high priority as well as information distribution, but primarily
the internet works best as a tool that allows us to see into each
other's lives, giving us a glimpse as to who we are. It's a lot
harder to kill someone for abstract causes when they are familiar.
But, hey, that's just my opinion after all…
Aint the internet grand? Cuz I can spew my opinion every which way
I like… How about you? Got your own site? Wanna share it with me?
Here's hoping to see you on the "Info Highway",
