this close to the Border, (it spoils quickly.) Therefore
it's hard to come by in B-Town. |

in high demand. Elves love that caffeine rush even more

Mixed with comfrey, these are herbal cig.'s. Elves like
to use them as a posturing tool, they like lookin' cool,
but hate tobacco. |

Cop's. Called coppers because they use copper badges
for ID. |
Dragon's Milk.
a.k.a., Peca, real name abed peca'aryn. Highly
addictive to elves. Can kill a human. |

Dream'shrooms.
Magical mushrooms. Better than the 'shrooms from the
world, more psychedelic. They are only found in the
Borderlands. |

Lots of fads come and go. One of the many were tiny
humanoid mammals that hung from an earring and sang. Only
the wearer could hear them. They were extremely expensive
because they din't live long in captivity. (Nevernever, W.

One of the soaps made in B-Town. In there Ad they use a
fresh faced girl. She's called the Fairfield Soap Girl.

Where the 'burb's are. It is what they call the stretch

grants luck to the owner. It is used as a form of currency
in BorderTown. |
Gateway, The.
The only way into the Elflands. Heavily guarded. No
Humans are allowed to pass through it. Once an Elf steps
through it is a matter of a simple spell to learn about
their arrival. |

They have a reporter in B-Town. The World is at last a
little more interested in B-Town! |
Golden-Rod-Creme.
Healing creme. Stops bleeding instantly. Magical. Used
most often by Elves, but works well, not perfect, on
Humans too. |

Recorders of sorts. Magical. Based on the Impression

The "Wall" that separates the Elflands from
the World has been termed this. It is an invisible barrier
that will instantly tear any human who attempts to cross
it asunder. Elves are expected to be honorable and use the

A stew mix made in B-Town. Kind of like Hamburger

Mad River Water.
Highly addictive for humans. Taste really, really bad.

Magical Lamps, lit by the use of magic. Used most

B-Town's magazine. It has a good reputation for it's
critics. It was only an Uptown mag until the Mock Ave.

both Soho, and Uptown. Alf Turner is the art critic. |
Oak & Ash.
It is said that you must wear these two leaves if you
desire to find B-Town. Both Oak and Ash are used as
protection from magic by herbal witches. (Lost in the
Mail, E. Kushner, bk. #3.) In Rhydin its a speakeasy run
by the Bloods of House Onyx. |
Pearl.
a.k.a. Shake. A highly addictive drug for both Elves
and Humans. It comes out of the Elflands. It is pink and
Mauve flakes. Very pretty, lethal in large doses. (Berlin,
Bk. #3.) |
Peca Paste.
Peca in a white paste. First you slice open a vein then
you apply the paste, following this with a Goldenrod salve
to heal the cut and keep it free of infection, (for Elves
Goldenrod creme works almost instantly.) It's supposed to
get Elves higher than if they drank it. Wolfboy tried this
and lived. Leda was addicted to this stuff. |

This means the tiny lights one sees in the sky at
night. In B-Town you see the stars of the Elflands in the
night sky. They revolve at a faster rate, and they burn
brightly and more colorfully than do ours. Some claim it
is the barrier between the two lands that creates this
effect and it is nothing more than an illusion. |

B-Town Comic book. Wizard is the star and two elven
delinquents, Tater and Bert, are his side kicks. Popular
